Pakistan Taleban execute spies

Militants in Pakistan have carried out what officials have called a “public execution” of two Afghans before thousands of cheering supporters.

The pair was alleged to have helped an American missile strike that killed 14 people in a border village last month. Correspondents say that the brazen nature of the killings – one man was decapitated and another shot – show the Taliban’s growing power. The deaths took place in the Bajaur tribal agency near the Afghan border.

American spies? That sounds like they cover their failures with innocent but then what more to expect from religious freaks?

Russia expels US embassy staff

Russia has ordered the expulsion of two military attaches from the American embassy in Moscow, US officials say.

The US state department said it would comply with the order although it objected to it. Two Russians have been expelled from Washington in recent months, one in November and the second on 22 April. The news comes as Russia conducts a transition of power with Vladimir Putin becoming prime minister and Dmitry Medvedev president.

The cold war continues!

Spies in …Russia

James Bond and brother found in …Russia according to the Russian authorities! Ilya Zaslavsky is a manager at the TNK-BP oil joint venture, his brother Alexander head of the British Council’s Moscow Alumni club. The two, who have joint US and Russian citizenship, were gathering classified data for foreign firms, the FSB said.

The arrests are the latest in a series of incidents which has caused serious frictions between Russia and the UK. British Council work was curtailed last year in a row over the death of ex-security agent Alexander Litvinenko.

I’m wondering what ‘M’ says and how I found myself having two …007 posts the very same day!!!
