Christian Extremists Within the U.S. Military – Myth or Reality? by Dr. Habib Siddiqui
When President George W. Bush called his war on terrorism a “crusade”, very few Muslims doubted his evil intention. In the face of strong condemnation at home and abroad, he quickly apologized.

While at ‘Baker’s’ I tried to write down some of my thoughts about the whole thing but nothing could come in mind, it was the blood ring there and it was the alcohol abuse, it was Leena who, for a reason I could not understand, wanted me to accept Juha

Dhaka, Bangladesh: Don’t sit here or you could be beaten by Linda Lane
I stopped a fight between 15 men at 3am in Dhaka Airport, over one man wanting to sit in the seats pictured. These were the only comfortable seats left in the room where one could conceivably have a nap.

Bush at No 10

US President George Bush is meeting British PM Gordon Brown for formal talks at Downing Street, on the second day of his two-day visit to the UK.

The two are set to focus on the Middle East, oil and food prices. Mr. Bush arrived at No 10 after breakfast talks with ex-prime minister Tony Blair. The trip is part of Mr. Bush’s final European tour before he leaves office. On Sunday Mr. Bush also met the Queen. His arrival in London was greeted by hundreds of anti-war demonstrators.

I just hope he realized that Brown is not called Tony! But then again …does it matter?

Bush compares Iraq, Afghan wars to World War II

President Bush told the 2008 graduating class at the U.S. Air Force Academy on Wednesday that the “only way America could lose the war on terror is if we defeat ourselves.”

Speaking on a cloudy day at Falcon Stadium, the president compared the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan to America’s earlier conflicts, particularly World War II.

“Our nation is once again contending with an ideology that seeks to sow anger, hatred and despair: the ideology of Islamic extremism,” he said.

“In today’s struggle, we are once again facing evil men who despise freedom and despise America and aim to subject millions to their violent rule.

The man has serious issues with his ego but …we already knew it!!!

Ex-aide criticizes Bush over Iraq

Former White House spokesman Scott McClellan has said US President George W Bush was not “open and forthright” on Iraq and rushed to an unnecessary war. In simple language, he …lied!!!

In a new book, Mr. McClellan says Mr. Bush relied on a “political propaganda campaign” to sell the war. His handling of Hurricane Katrina is also attacked. From July 2003 to his resignation in April 2006, Mr. McClellan was a loyal defender of the Bush administration. In response, a White House spokeswoman said Mr. McClellan was “disgruntled”.

Dana Perino added: “For those of us who fully supported him, before, during and after he was press secretary, we are puzzled. It is sad – this is not the Scott we knew.” Mr. McClellan was a long-standing member of Mr. Bush’s inner circle, having worked for him when he was Texas governor before following him to the White House.

Not much good for history to remember George W. Bush, even the …mice are leaving the boat before sinking to the bottom of …forgetness!

Obama over Bush’s Iran barb

Barack Obama has accused George W Bush of attacking him after the US president compared those in favour of talking to terrorists to Nazi appeasers.

The White House has denied that the remarks – from a speech to the Israeli parliament – were aimed at Mr Obama. Mr Obama, who is the frontrunner to become the Democrats’ presidential nominee, has argued in favour of negotiating with the Iranian regime. But he has ruled out talking to militant organisations like Hamas.

What does he care, after a few months is not going to be his problem anymore, Obama most likely will have to deal with it!

Bush to help Lebanese army

The US is prepared to help strengthen Lebanon’s army so it can disarm Hezbollah, US President George W Bush said in an interview.

He said the Shia Muslim Hezbollah movement had acted against its own people and was destabilizing Lebanon. He made the remarks ahead of a trip to the Middle East later this week.

At least 60 people have died in clashes in the capital Beirut and other cities between supporters of the government and the Hezbollah-led opposition. The sectarian violence is the worst since the end of the 15-year civil war in 1990.

Why every time there is a screw up somewhere George W. Bush offers …his help?
